Ah yes, hobbies. Everyone has one at least. I have alot of them, when I'm not in school, I usually have my head stuck in a book, or when I'm not doing that, I'm usually working on a puzzle or on a paint by number. In fact, I'm actually working on a puzzle, it's an Ed Hardy one, it looks like a tattoo of this Japanese geisha girl, And after I finish this one, I want to get one of The Beatles, I seen 3 I want to get and The Beatles White Album isn't one of them, they actually made a puzzle out of this, but the ones I want to get is The Beatles' Yellow Submarine puzzle, The Revolver album one, and the Let It Be album one.
Oh man, you should have been with me, my mom, stepdad and my sister right before Christmas. We were out at the mall because my mom and stepdad were trying to get ideas of what to get me and my sis for Christmas. They were both thinking about getting us puzzles and we went into this one place and it was a puzzle store, my sister wanted to get an Ed Hardy puzzle or a Gothic puzzle, so we ask this lady at the front desk if she can help, so she asks what kind of puzzle she's looking for and she says Gothic, so this lady takes her over to this shelf with Gothic fairy puzzles, and it's not what's she's looking for, so the woman asks her what music she listens to, and somehow she takes us over to where they have all these Beatles and John Lennon puzzles. It actually took me and my mom to convince this lady that she's not a Fab Four fan, I'm more of a fan of The Beatles than she is. We actually had to tell this woman"Lady, she doesn't like The Beatles or John Lennon, get it through your head!" This lady must have been dumber than a sack of rocks.
But anyway, when it comes to hobbies, I do pretty much anything creative, from reading books, to writing short stories, to painting paint by numbers, to doing puzzles. I like to do creative stuff because it keeps me busy. If I don't have a good book to read or a paint by number to do, I'm bored easily. When I was in high school, in my English class, we had this one assignment where we had to write a short story for our portfolio thing. I wrote one about these 2 cops investigating a mysterious murder in the South. Wasn't too bad, the teacher chose a few and mine was one of them to publish in a creative writing contest, won $200 on it, but it went right in the bank.
But when it comes to hobbies, I have alot. And as for interests, I have alot. One of them is foreign languages. I'd love to learn a few more, I'm quite fluent in Spanish, mainly because I had to take it to graduate from high school, but I thoroughly enjoyed learning this language. Unfortunately, my fellow graduates hated learning this language. They called it 'gay'. That's another thing, I hate when people use the word gay to say stupid. All they do is make themselves sound stupider. They don't understand what the word means. But anyway, learning foreign languages is an interest I have. I'd love to learn Italian, Chinese, Japanese, German and maybe Russian, a friend of mine says that I'm nuts for wanting to learn how to speak, read and write some of the most difficult languages in the known world, but I told her, I want to learn it. Another interest of mine is world cultures. Chinese and Japanese culture is so endlessly fascinating to me, all the little traditions, customs, and history related to that fascinates me. That probably explains why I'd love to go to China and Japan some day. And if possible, maybe live there. There are about 4 places that I would love to live in:
1. China: the culture fascinates me, so does the history, traditions, customs, and plus 2 of favorite actors are Chinese, Jet Li and Chow Yun-fat. So that shows I appreciate Asian culture.
2. Japan: same reason as China, the history, customs, traditions and culture fascinate me.
3. Australia: If I could live here, it would have to be 1 of 3 places along the coast; Brisbane, Melbourne or Sydney. They re right near the ocean and every night you can see the sun set over the ocean and every morning you can see the sun rise over the ocean, totally romantic.
4. London, England. For some reason, I'd love to live here because the culture here seems so similar to ours, but it has that feeling of being interesting. The only obstacle I'd have with that is the currency issue, from what I hear, the currency isn't dollars there, it's pounds, quid, etc. But the fun part part would be getting to learn how to adjust to that. I'd enjoy every second of learning about it.

Peliculas
If you are all wondering what this title means, it means 'Movies' in Spanish. You'll probably notice that I speak Spanish quite often in these blogs, but I enjoy speaking it. Over the weekend, I watched a few movies, well, my dad did at least. On Friday night, while my sister was at work, me and my dad watched this movie called My Cousin Vinny. It's really funny, it's about this Brooklyn lawyer named Vincent Gambini, Joe Pesci plays him and Marisa Tomei plays his girlfriend. They have to travel to Alabama to defend his cousin and a friend because they were convicted of murder. It's a really funny movie if you watch it. But it keeps reminding me of my 2 next door neighbors, David and Vicki, because they are both part Italian and from New York, whenever I hear them talk, I hear the accent. I watched this other movie, I'm pretty sure that everyone on the face of the earth has probably seen it at least once somewhere, Scarface. It's from 1983, it has Al Pacino in it. I never really realized how old the movie was. I've seen it so many times because my dad is a huge fan of De Niro and Pacino. Don't know why?!?!? But if you know my dad, you'll discover that he's a huge movie buff. But I usually am the type to not worry what goes on in the world of Hollywood, I could care less what movie is coming out nowadays because I figure I have little or no money and whenever I do have money, my dad has to borrow some to get something, he'll usually say it's for something we need, yeah right! I fell for that one already and I lost $30 to him. He spent the money on cigarettes! How pathetic! I can;t even enjoy the simple pleasure of going out to see a movie because my dad would want to go or I have no money! I wanted to see the new Karate Kid movie, but I had no money, then I wanted to see The Expendables, yet again, no dinero! I also had to add this: has anyone ever seen this movie I watched over the weekend? It's called What a Girl Wants. It has Amanda Bynes in it. It's about a girl who's living in New York and she hasn't ever met her dad, and when she finds out about him, she discovers he's a British politician running for office, so she goes to England and tries to find him. It's a really awesome movie, plus it's a cool movie for teens. I watched it after My Cousin Vinny because it was on some channel I forget the name of. But anyway, it's really awesome, and plus the guy who plays her dad in there, he's kind of cute, in a British gentleman sort of way. I think his name is Colin Firth or something, I love cute guys with an adorable English accent.

This World stinks!
This World Sucks! I'm so tired of hearing about these Reds and Bengals players getting $20 and $30 million for playing! What I'm really beginning to tire of hearing about is our economy, how it is going down in flames! I mean, people can't find jobs, teachers are losing their jobs, schools are closing, but the people of the supposedly, so-called great city of Cincinnati can afford to put in a streetcar, a casino? That sucks, sorry to be so rude about it, but that's how I feel! Do you want to know how I spent my summer? I spent it all trying to find a job! No one is hiring, and with the money issue, it's bigger than Mick Jaggers' lips for crying out loud! I can't buy books for school, I have to hope and pray that financial aid covers it! This one book I have to buy is $185! I can't afford that, no wonder kids don't go to college, it's so expensive! I can't cover it with money from my bank account--I don't have enough, I just about cleared out my bank money buying 2 other books! I just wish that this terribly ridiculous economy would just get better! Pardon my French but this economy is going to h--- in a handbasket! Sorry to sound like I'm ranting on about something, but I just need to get it out of my system. I'm just tired of hearing about these ridiculous politicians lying to get in office and not doing squat about anything! Sometimes I just wonder if it's even worth going to college, I can barely afford it, right now I'm barely squeaking by for college money, I mean my grades are doing just fine, they are peachy, it's just the financial issue, I'm relying on a student loan to get me by! It Is ridiculous. Sorry to sound rude, but I'm just a little P O'ed that I can't get stuff I need for school or a job! I mean, I tried EVERYWHERE! Donato's called back and politely siad that they weren't hiring, and I'm hoping that Hot Topic in the Florence mall is hiring, because if so, I'm there!

Weekend
My weekend was soooooooooooooooooooo boring! I hate not having much money! I would like to just be able to go out every great now and then and be able to buy something! I hate having to wait until birthdays and christmas to buy something! I put my application in everywhere and no one has called! I have been more aggressive than ever and it does not seem to be helping! I WANT MONEY! I just want to able to go out and buy something every great now and then! The only major thing I bought watched or bought was Kiss of the Dragon with Jet Li and a CD of Rihanna, it was the Good Girl Gone Bad album. For the fans of martial arts, I'm not sure if you would like it. Other than that, I went to Cynthiana to see relatives. Never in my life did I know that I possess such racist relatives. They were talking openly and very badly of the Latin people in the U.S. But basically my weekend was boring! I used about the last of my 20 dollars saved from christmas to buy a CD of The Rolling Stones, their Forty Licks CD.
