Dooman River (2011)



Chang-ho, 12, becomes friend with a North-Korean immigrant about the same age who just crossed the Dooman river, border between North-Korea and China. His mute sister and his wise grand-father will get along with him in a series of misfortunes.



Sleeping with the Enemy (2011)



Set during the Korean war, North Korean soldier Kim Jung-Woong (Kim Ju-Hyuk) aims to liberate the people, but when he meets South Korean Sul-Hee (Jung Ryeo-Won) in a village, he slowly starts to change. In 1950, residents in a rural village hears rumors of a war. Even though the country of South Korea is in a war, Seokjeongri is a remote rural village seemingly oblivious to what is occurring in other parts of the country. One day, while the villagers are busily preparing for the wedding of the village leader’s granddaughter Sul-Hee, a high level North Korean officer Kim Jung-Woong and his troops appear in front of the villagers. The soldiers appear to be ready to takeover the village, but the residents seem elated that the soldiers have arrived. Jae-Chun welcomes the soldiers passionately and Mr. Baek helps the soldiers. The kind village leader and the warmhearted villagers disarm the soldiers. But, all of these actions taken by the villages are part of a calculated and shred strategy to preserve their own safety.



Officer of the Year (2011)



Nearby police stations located in the Seoul districts of Mapo and Seodaemun are usually compared to each other and, consequently, has developed a rivalry. The chief at the Mapo police station is Hwang Jae-Sung (Park Joong-Hoon), who is fearless when it comes to catching criminals & uses any means necessary. To top the Mapo station, the Seodaemun police station appoints its new leader Jung Wei-Chan (Lee Sun-Gyun). Jung Wei-Chan graduated from the prestigious police academy. An award for “officer of the year” is given out to the officer able to apprehend the most criminals. The award also comes with a 30 million Won cash prize. Hwang Jae-Sung wants to receive the award as he wants a promotion and did not graduate from the police university. Jung Wei-Chan also badly wants to win the award for the prize money involved – his girlfriend is pregnant. For this award the two rivals compete even more fiercely. A serial rapist case then occurs causing both stations to work together. The outcome hangs in the air...



The Cane (2011)



A Joseon-style school in Gangwon Province doubles as a boot camp for social misfits. One of the teachers, Song-i (Jin Ji-hee), is only 12 but is well-versed in Confucian classics and exhibits charismatic leadership. She faces the greatest challenge ever in her teaching career, however, when a criminal Du-yeol (Ahn Nae-sang) turns out to be her father. Directed by Park Kwang-woo.



Dr. Jump (2011)



A movie is being produced in agreement with the 2011 World Athletic Championships in Daegu. The challenge of rising pole jumper Ha-ra based in Daegu where the 2011 World Athletic Championships are being held. Won-sik parts ways with roommate Woo-jeong and wackily starts long jumping at her suggestion that she might rethink about this if he showed something manly about himself. Former track and field coach Yeong-rok’s suggestion to jump over the rooftop house to impress his lover and the adventures of to-ve idol Jae-yeong who tries to stop this challenge but ends up doing it together.



A Little Pond (2010)



The Korean war does not start well for the US. They are being routed by the North Koreans and In July 1950, the early stage of the Korean War, at the Jugok Village in the middle of the Korean Peninsula, Chang-yee and his friends grow excited over the amateur singing contest knowing nothing about what is going on around them. At the time, the US Army keeps losing and are pushed back to the village, evacuating all villagers to head south. The villagers took refuge like going on a picnic believing that the US Army is protecting them, they just follow their orders moving south bound. (But word is circulating among the US forces that Northern soldiers may be hiding among the civilian refugees.) As the villagers approach Nogunri, an American airplane suddenly swoops in and bombs the villagers and the US soldiers who were in a defensive position begin firing at them. The villagers fall to the ground NOT knowing why they are shot by the US soldiers. In the end, among the 300 refugees who escaped to the cave, only 25 miraculously survive the massacre, the fierce 4–day battle.



Late Blossom (2011)



"Late Blossom" follows the lives of two couples who live in the same neighborhood. Kim Man-Suk (Lee Soon-Jae) delivers milk on a motorbike at dawn. He curses a lot, but actually has a warm heart. One day when he goes up a slope, he meets Ms. Song (Yun So-Jeong) - a lonely woman who works hards by collecting and selling scrap paper. Man-Suk feels something special toward Ms. Song. Jang Kun-Bong (Song Jae-Ho) works in a parking lot. Jang Kun-Bong has a wife (Kim Soo-Mi) who suffers from Alzheimer's. He works from dawn until late at night. After work he comes home and takes care of his wife.



There is a Reason for My Misery (2010)



The girlfriend, who has been in a relationship with Je-gi for 2 years, suddenly wants to breakup with him. Je-gi, who has nowhere to go, impulsively steals money from the store he works for. He has to return the money to the owner, but the owner asks for a higher amount than what Je-gi stole. His friend Jae-sik, pays back instead of him, but Jae-sik wants his money by tomorrow. Je-gi has to pay back that money...

Glove (2011)



Kim Sang-nam (Jeong Jae-yeong), a hot-tempered former professional baseball player, is sent to the countryside to coach a team of hearing-impaired players in order to avoid media coverage of his recent involvement in an assault case. At first, Kim has a difficult time imagining how he can teach baseball to a group of boys who can’t hear, but as he spends time with them he starts to believe that they can play the game. Motivated, Kim decides to help them prepare for the nationals. But things don’t go the way Kim plans and their difficulties communicating with one another exacerbates the situation.

[Ji Wook who meet his grandfather’s everlasting first love]

Ji Wook hates his grandfhather because he forgot everything, even his own wife (Ji Wook’s grandmother). But somehow, his grandfather still remembers his first love’s name and Ji Wook feels a little bit sorry for that. The Story of My Life (2011)



Five men who lead the Korean musical society gathered for the tense first script reading of the musical “The Story Of My Life”. Ryu Jung-han the perfectionist, full of concentration from the first day of practice, Lee Seok-joon who delicately challenges him, Sin Seong-rok who decides he is the mood lightener, Lee Chang-yong-I, frozen tight in front of seniors that look like stars to him and Shin Chun-soo who got them all in one place. Within a circle of tension, Jung-han and Seong-rok start practicing the role of Thomas and Seok-joon and Chang-yong the role of Alvin. The youngest Chang-yong carefully approached Seong-rok to get closer to him but Seong-rok isn’t happy about being paired up with a newbie. Meanwhile, Seok-joon falls into a slump as he gets mixed criticis about his current performance and runs into trouble with Jung-han about everything starting with the product evaluation. This musical about two men and their friendship, will it be able to rise on stage?



Petty Romance (2010)



Also known as "The Petty Love Affair". Adult comic romance, between 'Grunge' adult cartoonist and 'Bluff' sex columnist, which takes place in both reality and dream. Cartoonist Jeong-bae gets rejected every time he tries to sell his work. One day when he got rejected, Jeong-bae sees a prize for an adult cartoon contest. He eventually tries to find a story writer for his new ‘adult’ comic. Da-ram, who screws every work that she has to do, is kicked out from her company. While finding a new job, she is interviewed by Jeong-bae. Attracted by this huge amount of prize money, Da-ram starts to write a scenario for Jeong-bae. This is the making film of Da-ram and Jeong-bae’s adult comic. The petty romance that nobody saw before will be start.



Finding Mr. Destiny (2010)



A woman named Seo Ji-Woo (Im Soo-Jung) traveled to India and met her first true love Kim Jong-Ok. Since that time Ji-Woo can’t forget her first love. The pair travel all over Korea to find Seo Ji-Woo’s first love and & in the process Han Gi-Joon finds himself falling in love with his first client...

White: The Melody of Curse (2011)



Girl group "Pink Dolls" is always pushed into the background by other popular idols. When the girls release their new song "White" - a remake from unknown origins they become instant sensations. The four members of "Pink Dolls" include Eun-Joo, a former break dancer, Je-ni, a singer insecure with hitting high notes, Ah-Rang, a singer addicted to plastic surgery, and Sin-Ji who can't sing, but is good at rapping and singing. As the group becomes more and more popular, jealousy and competitiveness increases as all the girls tries to become the lead singer. But, when a member becomes the lead singer that person falls victim to a horrible accident, one by one. Eun-Joo then realizes that the song "White" is cursed and she attempts to reveal the secret...



Suicide Forecast (2011)



A former professional baseball player, Byeong-wu, made a successful career transition into a high-flying insurance advisor, thanks to his keen business sense and quick wits. But one day, one of his clients committed suicide and passed away and once hero Byeong-wu is now subject to internal investigation. Now he starts to run through his client list and finds a suspicious group of people introduced to him by the same person - and starts visiting them one by one.



Phungsan Dog (2011)



Part love story, part postwar tragedy, with a dose of comedy thrown in, the low-budget film "Poongsan" depicts the sad reality of the division between the two Koreas. Poongsan (Yoon Kye-sang) has the unenviable – and death-defying – job of delivering messages across the North and South Korean border to separated families. When South Korean government agents ask him to smuggle in In-oak (Kim Kyu-ree), the lover of a high-ranking North Korean defector, into the South, the damsel and rescuer fall in love instead. Written and co-produced by Kim Ki-duk, who just won the Prize Un Certain Regard for "Arirang – Movie" at last month’s Cannes Film Festival, and directed by his protege Jeon Jae-hong, "Poongsan" came to life on just one-tenth of the average budget for Korean films. Poongsan, whose real name is never revealed, is a mysterious man who delivers whatever brings him money by going back and forth between Pyongyang and Seoul. One day, the delivery man is ordered to bring In-oak. She joins the deliveryman on the life threatening journey. In the middle of this trip, In-oak and the man start to fall in love, but their romance is put in jeopardy by the obstacles they encounter.

Link (2011)



If "Inception" made the controlling of dreams and thoughts come true, "Link" shows how telepathy between people could become a reality. Lee Jae-hyun, the protagonist of "Link", has a sister who is in a coma. He spends his life wishing to see his sister come back to life however his hope eventually dies out. While grief stricken Lee meets an attractive girl, Su-jeong, through his trusted friend, Gu Seong-wu. Su-jeong and Jae-hyun not only build their friendship but they develop a link that let them share their five senses and even their thoughts. As the link gets stronger, Jae-hyun becomes ever more addicted to Su-jeong’s power. This infatuation with the link endangers Jae-hyun.
